Yarn bombed

As I walked from the train station to work this morning, I decided to stop for a take-away
coffee and I'm so glad I did!

I was greeted with yarn wrapped trees. How fantastic! I have seen small installations of these but never so many. It looked fantastic and they reached so high. Gosh I hope it inspires some typical business folk into trying some crochet, knitting or crafting LOL

You can find Yarn Corner on Facebook (just search as it is a closed group) and I found a story about them here.

Good work girls - I loved it!

  1. Just fabulous!! Our local traffic lights down our main street (which in a country town isn't really that long) were done once! I just marvelled at the talent!! Thanks for sharing!

  2. Reminds me of a little something I saw on RMIT's Open Day at their Brunswick campus...
