Today on the Lil Pip Facebook page, I asked what is the greatest movie of all time?
This is suppose to be 'Friday fun' and I'm suddenly thinking it isn't fun at all. Why? Well it gets me thinking about what is the greatest movie? What do I think it the best? And all time, that is a huge pool to draw from! Maybe I just think too much.
So rather than hurt my brain anymore, here are my top 10 favourite films of all time (in no particular order):
- Beaches
- The Notebook
- Top Gun
- Pretty Woman
- Grease
- Dirty Dancing
- Titanic
- Gone with the Wind
- The Wizard of Oz
- Annie (just can't help it, one of my favourites!)
It is interesting that most on my list are there based largely on the music and not the movie. Most of them as movies from my childhood rather than recent movies.

Great list Jane! A few I really love - Grease, The Sound of Music, Pulp Fiction (hubs and I watched it two weeks ago - it never gets old and we say the lines together like dorks haha!) and my siblings and I have always loved Robin Hood:Prince of Thieves. I wouldn't necessarily class it as in the top greatest films of all time but we love it and continue to watch it :)
